The Girl in Room 105-Book Review

Author: Chetan Bhagat
Publisher:  Westandbooks

My Rating: 3.5/5

Review: I picked up this book for its caption which says, ‘an unlove story’. Read the back of the book and found it mysterious.

Simple and humorous writing style of author makes it quick to read. I finished it up in two days. This book has a case to solve and you cannot keep it down until you find out who did it. Although it is not a love story but for those who’re in love, it shows the power of true love.

Loved the role played by Keshav. Characters Keshav and Saurabh are like Indian Sherlok-Watson spy duo. The story starts with Keshav who is madly in love with Zara, even after they have broken up. He is hopeful to get another chance with her someday but destiny has some other plans for them. He is ready to do anything for her love and this becomes the starting point of the story. In the end you’re surprised with the findings.

The clever hero Keshav and funny Saurabh with other characters make it an interesting read. I loved it and will recommend it to people who love mystery and fiction. Engineers like me will surely relate to it as the story is based in IIT Delhi and characters are shown from engineering background. 😛
